A small, stylish storefront restaurant on Santa Monicaís Main Street, just up the road from Venice, with some of the best Italian seafood and pastas in Los Angeles. Warning: itís pricey and there are a huge number of delectable specials each night, which the waiters describe beautifully, but neglect to mention the cost of each dish. Specials keep the menu fresh with currently available market produce, seasonal delicacies and fresh catch.
Entrees start in the high teens for pasta (if youíre lucky) and climb steadily up to the $40s for an amazingly delicate and tasty branzino steamed in salt. The seafood salad is perfectly cooked, perfumed with lemon and oil, and succulent. Service is convivial and atmosphere is fun.
