This outstanding French Michelin star-rated place is one of our favorite high end, blow-the-budget restaurants. Chef Josiah Citron shops at the Santa Monica market and offers a seasonal menu, making our infrequent visits all the more fun. The food is beautifully presented and most every dish is divine. The atmosphere is lovely with soft colors, subdued lighting, and the ability to hear the people with whom you are dining, but not everyone else. Isn't that romantic? The service is lovely, very solicitous without being cloying. For those with a large appetite, the tasting menu is worth it.
